Savoy Signature Hotels has announced that they are set to re-open two more hotels in July following the recent re/opening of the Calheta Beach Hotel on the 9th of June. Following on from this the Savoy Palace will re-open on the 13th of July, followed by the Saccharum, on the 31st.

The Public Security Police (PSP) Madeira has announced that they have arrested two citizens, one male and one female, aged 39 and 43 years respectively, for drug trafficking.
