Christmas is definitely in the air as the 11th Edition of the Winter Market, an initiative of the Funchal City Council, started yesterday.
The event has 19 artisanal vendors offering a wide variety of crafts from ceramics, recycling, the use of stone and stainless steel for jewelry, crochet, knitting, and much more. Â
Yesterday was very busy with both residents and tourists keen to spot unique and personal Christmas presents for loved ones. Â
Many of the vendors anticipate this time of year, as this is one of the key outlets for getting your work known.Â
The market will remain open until the 25th of October and is located on the 3rd floor of the Farmers’ Market.
