EasyJet reported today that due to high demand it is continuing to maintain its routes from Lisbon, Porto, Faro and Funchal. This comes after it was announced that more than 50% of Portuguese citizens still want to travel, despite the pandemic.

A rescue team from the Portuguese Red Cross (CVP) last night (Wednesday the 26th) had to call on the support of the Public Security Police (PSP), as they tried to assist a 40-year-old man who was drunk and injured on Rua do Seminário, Funchal.
