Madeira – One of EasyJet’s Top Destinations

EasyJet confirmed today that due to high demand it is continuing to maintain its routes from Lisbon, Porto, Faro and Funchal.  This comes after it was announced that more than 50% of Portuguese citizens still want to travel, despite the pandemic.

Issuing a statement, the airline said that “more than half of Portuguese citizens wanted to holiday abroad despite the pandemic, and that as soon as they became operational again, EasyJet rose to the occasion ensuring that they scheduled adequate flights to their customers favourite destinations: Madeira, Spain, France and Italy.”

The company further reiterated that all necessary health and safety procedures are in place, namely additional cleaning and disinfection of the aircraft cabin and mandatory use of masks for all crew and passengers.
