A recent landslide in the Silveira area of Boaventura struck a vehicle carrying six tourists, leaving at least three seriously injured. The injured are being taken to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital for treatment.
Regional Road 101 is closed to traffic. At the scene are 20 operatives from the Volunteer Firefighters of São Vicente and Porto Moniz, as well as elements of the PSP, providing aid and securing the area.
