The Portuguese Institute of Atmosphere and Sea (IPMA), issued at 17:07 a Signal Warning 6 (Bad Weather) for the Madeira Archipelago, according to the Captaincy of the Port of Funchal.
The warning points to Wind force 7 (51 to 62 km per hour) from any direction.
Taking into account this forecast, the Captaincy recommends that owners and shipowners of vessels take the necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
