EasyJet's General Director for Portugal, José Lopes, has stated that as soon as Portugal, including Madeira, was placed on the UK green list, the number of EasyJet bookings has soared. As such, EasyJet has decided to expand the number of weekly flights from its UK bases -London Gatwick, London Luton, Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Belfast - to Lisbon, Faro, Porto, and Madeira.

Earlier this morning, EasyJet announced that they plan to operate up to three-quarters of their normal schedule July and August, including those to Madeira.
