Madeira Needs to Be Recognised

A statement issued by PSD deputy Paulo Neves said that it is essential that the Portuguese National Strategy for Economic Recovery, which will be presented, in its final version on Wednesday the 16th of September, meets the criteria presented by the Regional Government and is not just a Continental Plan.” As such, it should be defended at all costs during its public presentation at the national parliament.

SIC Cetacean Programme Under Development

The Advisory Committee for the Monitoring of the Special SIC Cetaceans 7Whales7 Programme met recently for the first time, with the Regional Secretary for the Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change, to begin the process of preparing the document that will create rules and competences for the new SIC Cetacean Programme.

n the 4th of September, officials from seven unions representing TAP workers met with Board of Directors of TAP and representatives of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), the consultants chosen by the carrier to coordinate the restructuring plan required by the European Commission as part of the conditions of the state loan to the airline.
