Beware of Bogus Judicial Police Emails

The Judicial Police (JP) through the National Unit to Combat Cybercrime and Technological Crime UNC3T, has issued a statement saying that they have been informed by several citizens the existence of a ‘phishing’ campaign as part of an attempt to obtain personal information via email, supposedly sent by the Judiciary Police.

The JP warns everyone to be on their guard against these false emails ( xxxxxx@policiajudicaria.pt ), reiterating that on no account should any recipient open or follow the links contained within the email.

If anyone has any information about who or whom are behind this, please notify the Judicial Police immediately, as they ‘would like to talk to them.’
