The Institute of Forests and Nature Conservation (IFCN) has confirmed that due to a landslide and subsequent walkway collapse, PR 10 – Levada do Furado pedestrian route, between Ribeiro Frio and Lamaceiros, is temporarily closed, for safety reasons.
