The Regional Civil Protection Service issued a bad weather warning this afternoon.
In a statement, the IPMA forecasts heavy rain tomorrow, with intense and frequent showers occurring tomorrow afternoon (Sunday) and early Monday morning.
As part of their security measures, the IPMA recommends that all drainage systems should be unobstructed; do not cross flooded areas; avoid areas that are historically vulnerable to flooding; adopt defensive driving habits, reduce speed, and avoid, where possible, puddles and large areas of collected water on roads. All animals should be moved to safety, and all watercourses should be free from rubbish.Â
