An earthquake registering 2.4 on the Richter scale was recorded this morning (Tuesday) at 06:30 off the northeast coast of Porto Santo.
According to the Portuguese Institute of Atmosphere and Sea (IPMA), the quake had its epicenter located at 34.597° north latitude and 13.114° west longitude, at a depth of 29 kilometers.
