The ‘multiplier effect’ of the work on the Ponta do Pargo Golf Course was one of the aspects that Miguel Albuquerque highlighted in his speech at the ceremony of the Day of the Municipality of Calheta.
The President of the Regional Government provided assurances that by the end of the year, the procedures for the concession of the real estate component of the Ponta do Pargo Golf Course project should be launched. Moreover, he devalued the increase in traffic to the west of the island, joking that with the new course and complex in Ponta do Pargo, car traffic will increase even more.
 He tempered his comments by saying that this “good problem” will create new accessibilities through the Via Litoral and Via Expresso concessionaires.
