The Regional Government of Madeira met today and issued several key resolutions concerning public contracts, infrastructure, and administrative oversight.
Termination of Concession Contract
The government has formally terminated the concession contract for the former EB 2,3 de São Jorge Cardeal D. Teodósio de Gouveia school in Santana. The contract with the Atalaia Living Care Association (IPSS) was ended due to “definitive non-compliance attributable to the concessionaire.”
As a result, the government has declared the security deposit provided under the contract forfeited in favour of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
