This morning, the President of Madeira, Miguel Albuquerque, presented the schematics of Porto Santo’s new health unit.
Images of the new infrastructure were presented this morning during a meeting with the Mayor of Porto Santo, Idalino Vasconcelos and the Vice-President, Pedro Freitas, the purpose of which was to review a diverse set of issues relating to that island.
According to a statement, the new health unit’s functional programme is currently being drawn up. All that has been confirmed is that the new facility will have a construction area of up to 3,000 m². Furthermore, this year, architectural and specialty projects will be prepared, which will lead to the subsequent construction of this very important unit which will serve both residents and those visiting the island.
