The Public Security Police will continue to position speed cameras on Madeira’s roads during June as part of their ‘Who warns you…’ initiative.
Closing the month of May, speed cameras will be in action on Friday, the 30th, between 09:00 and 13:00 on VR1 – km 37,7 – Piquinho – Machico.
During June, cameras will be located at the following points:
6th of June, between 08:00 and midday, speed radars will be positioned on the via rapida at km 6.0 West-East, in the area of Quinta Grande – Câmara de Lobos.
From 08:30 – 11:30 on the via rapida in the Santa Catarina area, next to Quinta AmĂ©rico DurĂŁo – Santa Cruz, at km 33.3.
18th of June – via rapida at km 9.4 East – West – Câmara de Lobos at 18:00.
19th of June, between 10:00 and 12:30, radars will be in action on Rua 5 de Outubro, in Funchal.
25th of June, radars will be on via rapida, between Moinhos – Faial -Santana, between 16:30 and 19:30.
Please note that other speed cameras can be located in undisclosed locations.
