The New Right party, in the final stretch of the electoral campaign, denounces speculation in relation to prices practiced in commercial outlets, namely supermarkets, and regrets the lack of supervision by the competent authorities.
“In today’s times, many families have no choice in the food they will put on the table to support their children,” points out Paulo Azevedo, following a campaign initiative near the Anadia Shopping Centre, in Funchal.
Paulo Azevedo called for the vote to be able to put his proposals into practice, “attracting more supermarket brands to Madeira, lowering taxes, and giving the populous a choice in where they shop for food. He also intends to increase regional agricultural production with incentives for young people to create new companies for agricultural purposes.
