The Porto Santo Line (PSL) has issued a press statement confirming that the Madeira – Porto Santo ferry connection will not operate on the 1st of May.
The Funchal-Porto Santo (08:00) and Porto Santo-Funchal (20:00) trips have been cancelled due to anticipated bad weather. The ferry company reiterates that sailing in bad and rough seas can jeopardise passengers and the integrity of the ship.
However, the company has scheduled two extra trips for Friday, the 2nd of May. All tickets purchased for Labour Day (1st of May) will be automatically rescheduled for the 2nd.
Schedules May 2:
Funchal-Porto Santo: 08:00 am (extra trip) and 19:00
Porto Santo – Funchal: midday (extra trip) and 22:30
