Strong winds affected the airport this afternoon, causing havoc and confusion at the airport for those waiting for their flights from London, Brussels, Manchester and Lisbon.
The problem was not so much the large concentration of people who were organised and cared for by airport officials, who distributed water and chocolate to those passengers affected, many felt angered that EasyJet had simply abandoned them at the airport, and that they had been kept in the dark about the situation.
Unfortunately, this meant that many of the airport’s staff and handling crews were subjected to verbal harassment.
It’s not their fault guys!
