A young Monk Seal was spotted yesterday briefly snoozing on Paul do Mar's pebble beach. According to the President of the Junta de Freguesia, Paulo Rodrigues, the seal basked in the sun for a 'few brief moments, ' and that it is not uncommon for Monk Seals to visit this particular beach.
