The second pyromusical show, integrated into the International Fire Competition of Artifício da Madeira (CIFAM), as part of the 2026 edition of the Madeira Festival Atlântico, took place in the middle of the bay of Funchal. The exhibition was organised by the Chinese company Nanchang Fireworks Industries Co., Ltd., in an event organised by the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture, through the Regional Directorate of Tourism.
‘Flowers on Fire: The Blossoming of Light’ was the theme chosen for the show that came to life through light, colour, and emotion, enchanting audiences.
The contest aims to promote and award the ‘Trophy of the Atlântico,’ presented by a jury, as well as the ‘Madeira Tão Tua Trophy,’ chosen by the public. Completed public votes can be posted through tombolas placed in the Plaza Madeira shopping centre, at the Tourist Information Office of the Regional Directorate of Tourism, on Avenida Arriaga, and on the night of each show, at the Funchal Pier. The results of the International Firework Competition of Madeira will be announced on the 27th of June.
