3,500 Vaccines Given in One Week

Between the 23rd and 28th of September, 3,500 people were vaccinated against influenza, representing 1.4% of the population, while only 725 were inoculated against Covid-19.

According to the data released, 2,700 vaccinated individuals were over 60 years old. This year, the age limit for free vaccinations was raised from 50 to 60. Additionally, the bulletin states that 1,133 vaccines were high-dose, which in the Region are designated for people aged 75 and above.

Covid-19 vaccinations are on a downward trend, although 614 of those who were inoculated against the SARS-CoV-2 virus were over 60 and suffering poor health.
