Over the next few days, above normal tidal swells and troughs are expected to affect the coast of Madeira. Therefore, the MarFunchal Front recommends all bathers to be cautious and respect all warning flags.
“Always opt for supervised beaches and follow the recommendation of lifeguards,” says a Frente MarFunchal representative. “This notice applies to everyone, even holidaymakers.”
