Several tourists expressed discontent this morning with the cleanliness and maintenance of the Cabo Girão Viewpoint, in Câmara de Lobos.
According to a guide-interpreter, visitors were displeased as they were not able to fully appreciate the experience, the view over the Atlantic Ocean, and the impressive cliff of Cabo Girão, as the glass on the skywalk was dirty and in poor condition. “It’s in a sorry state, and we are paying to see this!” Lamented one tourist, while others asked how such an emblematic paid tourist attraction could be in such bad condition.
Although the number of visitors is high, criticism focused on the lack of maintenance of the space, compromising everyone’s visiting experience.
