For safety reasons, the pedestrian route PR10 – Levada do Furado, between Ribeiro Frio and Lamaceiros, is temporarily closed, according to the Institute of Forests and Nature Conservation (IFCN).
The organisation appeals to visitors to respect the no-entry signs and desist from walking along a closed walking route. Once the necessary safety conditions have been met, the route will reopen.
