MB Warns of Fraudulent Customer Support Calls

MB WAY has issued a warning on social media about fraudulent phone calls from scammers posing as its customer support team to obtain users’ personal and banking details.

According to the service, fraudsters may disguise the number they are calling from, making it appear legitimate.

During these calls, scammers may claim that the user’s bank card or account is at risk and attempt to persuade them to disclose sensitive information or authentication codes.

MB WAY stresses that it never calls users to request confidential information, authentication codes, or login details. It also never asks users to carry out test transactions or install applications from outside official app stores.

If you receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately, avoid sharing personal or banking information, and report the incident through MB WAY’s official support channels.

The service also urges users not to trust a call solely because of the number displayed on their mobile phone, as scammers can falsify caller identification to make the call appear genuine.
