A PSP officer has recently been praised for showing that wearing a uniform doesn’t mean you can’t have fun.
While several people sang Bruno & Marrone’s ‘Dormi na Praça,’ in an attempt to provoke the police officer, he was not intimidated and joined in the fun. He strutted his stuff and thanked those present for dedicating the song to him. His actions have garnered praise on social media networks.
Responding to the flurry of interest on social media platforms, the PSP Regional Command said:
“All this, because being a police officer is also about creating moments of joy, getting closer to the community, and humanising what we do. Don’t forget, creating security can be done with empathy, respect, and a sense of humour.”
