A new viewpoint is being created in Machico – ‘Miradouro do Paraíso.’
The viewpoint results in the restoration of the Levada da Rocha confirmed Alberto Olim, President of the Parish Council of Machico. The miradouro will serve as a support to farmers but Alberto Olim also hopes it will become the new mandatory crossing point for those who visit the region, as it will have a remarkable view of both the north and south of the municipality.
This work is the result of an application made to PRODERAM and is expected to be completed by mid-October.
