The family of 35-year-old Polish citizen, Michal Kozek, who disappeared on the 7th of July 2021 in the Sierra da Calheta have not given up hope of finding Michal’s body.
Five days after the disappearance of another elite athlete, this time British Fell runner Darren Kay, who also disappeared in the Municipality of Calheta, Michal Kozek’s brother is scheduled to arrive on Monday, with new information which may lead to the resting place of his brother. According to a source, Polish experts have been able to identify new GPS coordinates that may reveal Michal’s geographic position that day.
Like so many others who have gone missing, Michal left his hotel and has not been seen again.
