Three students from Escola Horácio Bento de Gouveia are promoting a demonstration in Funchal in favour of abortion and women’s rights.
Isis Gouveia, Lara Nóbrega and Francisco Nóbrega are the 9th grade students who are fronting what they believe is a vitally important social initiative.
The demonstration will take place tomorrow, the 29th of June, at Largo do Município, starting at 2:30 pm.
According to the promoters, the Funchal City Council (CMF), and the Public Security Police (PSP) are all aware of the event.
