Hydrogen Fuel Made From Household Waste

The Municipality of Cascais, Portugal, has announced that it has a system which is capable of transforming household waste into hydrogen, which will then be used to power municipal buses and waste collection vehicles. 

The project, developed by Floating Particle and IPIAC starts on Monday, with the  installation of a production unit that will be capable of transforming 50 tons of household waste into five tons of hydrogen per year.
