In a press statement, Ambassador Cruise Line claims that it is the first new British cruise line since 2010, and that Portugal, especially Lisbon, Porto and Madeira, will be included in the company’s 2021 schedule.
Carlos Fortuna, the Director of Garland Navegação, the cruise liners handling agents said:
“It is with great expectation that Garland awaits the resumption of cruise activity in our ports, albeit, mainly in the latter part of this year and early 2022. The launch of this new route gives us hope for the future, especially after the uncertainty we have all experienced.”
Ambassador Cruise Line will offer an authentic and premium value cruise experience, sailing from its UK base in Tilbury, while its cruise itineraries are aimed at the over 50’s market.
