Pingo Doce Launch Blue Light Protection Facecream

Pingo Doce has recently launched an innovative facial cream called ‘Blue Light Protection’ that protects the skin from the effects of blue light emitted by computers, tablets and mobile phones.

Until now, products that prevent the effects of blue light have only been available in pharmacies and through specialised cosmetic channels. However, Pingo Doce was determined to create a product that was affordable to everyone.

Launched as part of their ‘Be Beauty’ range, the supermarkets own brand of cosmetic products, the ‘Blue Light Protection facial cream’ is priced at €4.99, and is Vegan Friendly as it does not contain any raw materials of animal origin. In addition to protecting against the effects of artificial light, the new cream restores the skin’s vitality, improves its natural tone and texture and brightens it without leaving the surface looking greasy.

According to Pingo Doce’s Be Beauty Commercial Director, Rita Manso, “exposure to light is a reality that has been growing due to the current pandemic situation which has led to an increase in the use of technology as a means of communication and connection between people. With this launch, Be Beauty adds to its range an innovative products that responds to the most advanced trends in the market.”
