Seconded to the parish of Tililngdon, the Reverend Dolores has been presented with a challenge.

She’s living in an antiquated house and she’s cold. Furthermore, her new Bishop, Bishop Alice does not approve of ‘showgirls in dog collars.’

Determined to prove the Bishop wrong, she sets about warming her house – who cares if it smells of horse! There is the crochet club, jumble sale, and soup run to organise. And this year, the church bells will ring, no matter what threats are made. Even more so, the newly formed choir will spread a little joy this Christmas, even though they can’t sing – yet! And with a little help from Phil, her bassist, this year could be full of magic.

However, she has a fight on her hands as the townies out in Knob Hill – she must stop calling it that, are trying to stop her from ringing her bells. When Krystal with a K decides to do some volunteer work, Dolores sets out to see just how committed she really is.

Up to her ears in granny squares and squawking choristers, Dolores is revving up for Christmas, yet a deeper darker secret is beginning to emerge!

A secret that could blow the whole parish apart and put Dolores in danger.

I had a pleasant arrival in Madeira, thanks to the good organization by the Madeira Health Authorities.
On July 26th I landed with TUIfly on the island; this is not my first time as a visitor here.
My concerns about starting a journey in “Corona Times” were all refuted. You get used to wearing the mask on the plane, the air was good and the seating is distributed so that you have enough distance from other passengers.
It was not possible to take a Covid test in Germany in advance because I had no symptoms of an illness. I filled out a questionnaire online with all the important information about myself, my condition, and my arrival details at Madeira Airport, and sent it to Madeira Health Authorities.
When I arrived in Madeira, everything worked very quickly because I was already registered. A blue line led to the test stations. A competent hostess helped me to quickly call up my registration number since I had not noted it down. Several test stations guaranteed swift sampling of the nose and throat. Everything was done under good hygienic conditions.
After only 8 hours I received the result: Negative, of course !!
I as 75 years old now; I experienced a lot and saw a lot in the world, but this organization at Madeira Airport is exemplary; Kudos to those responsible in Madeira! But the general requirement to wear a mask in public from 01.08. is, in my opinion, exaggerated.
