Desperately Seeking Picasso

Picasso has been missing from his home in Santo António since the 16th of November. Although he has already been sighted in Caboqueira, Ilhéus, São Martinho, Barreiros, and even at the Mercado dos Lavradores, his family have been unable to find him.

Heaviest Downpour Since 1956

19.1 litres of rain per square metre fell in Chão do Areerio between 19:00 and 19:10 last night.  The rainfall is one of the heaviest downpours recorded on the island since the 22nd of February 1956, where approximately 40 litres of rain fell per square metre in Funchal.
