A bull grazing by the side of a road in Santo António, Funchal caused great concern over the weekend. Only used to scenes like this in the Azores, many found the large beast to be rather threatening, especially as it was only tethered by a piece of rope, which many thought was not strong enough to control the bull.
However, the animal appeared more interested in the grass than the traffic or pedestrians around it, and this is not the first time that a cow or bull has been seen grazing in the area.
