TAP-Air Portugal announced this morning that from 16 June 2020 arrangements to deliver the backlog of air freight destined for Madeira currently held in Lisbon will be implemented. The airline confirmed that they will operate five scheduled flights a week running from Tuesday to Saturday, using a Embraer- 195, which can carry 11 tonnes of freight. Each flight will depart from Lisbon airport at 07.30 with a planned arrival time of 09.20 at Madeira International Airport. The return flight will depart for Lisbon at 10.30. The airline has also confirmed that they will be scheduling a similar service between Lisbon and the Azores.
