45% Rise in Hospital Building Costs

A new report indicates that the new hospital will cost 45% more than estimated.

The reasons given for the increase include the purchase of unforeseen materials, making the project more expensive.

In a statement the Secretary of the Equipment guarantees that the recent opinion of the Court of Auditors will have no impact in the taxpayers’ pockets.

The hospital is expected to be operational in 2029.
