The Judiciary Police (PJ), through the Criminal Investigation Department of Madeira, has detained a 38-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder, and the possession of a prohibited weapon, following an incident that occurred last Sunday in Funchal, Madeira.
According to a PJ statement, the crime was committed in a restaurant and beverage establishment, following a disagreement, which culminated in the aggressor stabbing the victim twice in the back.
According to the PJ, the detainee has been arrested for Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH).
