After the success of the eleven previous editions of the ‘My Christmas Card’ contest, which began in 2012, the competition has received thousands of entries. With its continued popularity, the National Association of Teachers (ANP) – Regional Section of Madeira, will promote the XII edition of this initiative for all children from public and private schools of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education in the Region.
With this initiative, ANP intends to continue instilling habits of contest participation, stimulating imagination and creative capacity, providing a playful activity and artistic expression, developing aesthetic sensitivity, promoting the participation and involvement of the school community, and preserving the “genuine” spirit of this Christmas season in the creation of festive cards.
The contest ends on the 6th of December, and the winning student will receive a prize of: 1 Double Menu Voucher at Taco Bell + 1 Mini Christmas Children’s Photo Session (Awro.ra) + 3 invitations to visit the Banana Museum (GESBA) and a Pingo Doce Voucher worth €50.
The two winning cards in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year categories will all receive an official ANP image of their work,
Last year 400 postcards were submitted to the competition, and this year the organisers hope for more. Furthermore, in December, the Teacher Space will promote an exhibition of all the cards received.
