From the 4th of October, Forum Madeira managed and marketed by CBRE, will become the first dog friendly shopping centre in Madeira.
In a statement released yesterday, all owners who would like to bring their dog shopping must from the 26th of August complete the registration form available on the Forum Madeira app. “After registering, the person responsible for the dog, identified in the registration form, must go to the Information Desk of the Shopping Centre to validate all the documentation (vaccination record, chip registration, registration of the Parish Council, and civil liability insurance) and sign a term of responsibility.
Director of the shopping centre, Rita Paixão, believes that being dog friendly is a big step towards the inclusion of four-legged friends in the daily routine of their owners and for us, being part of the routine of both is something unique. “Of course, for this to happen, it is essential that everyone complies with the rules in order to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all who visit us. We already have owners who bring their dogs, but through this initiative, we can ensure the safety of dogs, owners, and other shoppers.”

All dogs registered from the 26th of August will be offered an identification tag and a gift.
