Madeira Airport has been voted as the world’s most exciting place to land, according to a new study that analysed YouTube views and Google searches, assigning scores between zero and 10.
The study was carried out by Prime Casino and released this Wednesday by digitaloft, and Madeira Airport, known for its surroundings in rough and windy terrain, obtained a score of 9.55/10.
The study released today highlights that the complexity of landing at Cristiano Ronaldo Airport requires “special training and certification for pilots,” which explains an interest of 79,340 searches on Google. It should be noted that the videos released of landings at this airport totaled 35 million views on YouTube.
In second place is London Heathrow Airport with 8.79/10, followed by Queenstown Airport in New Zealand with 8.64/10, both also known for their challenging landings and impressive views.
