Amandla Stenberg, a protagonist of the Star Wars series ‘The Acolyte,‘ has admitted that she has fallen in love with Madeira. Many of you will remember that the Star Wars team was here for several weeks.
In a virtual interview that attracted journalists from all over the world, she said that the natural beauty of the region left her ‘absolutely amazed.’
“We were there for two weeks and I think it might be the most beautiful place I’ve ever visited. I had already visited a Nepalese forest, which is perhaps at the top of my list, but I was absolutely amazed by Madeira. I felt so lucky to be able to be in such a beautiful place and look at the breathtaking mountains and cliffs,” she said.
Stenberg, who plays two characters in the series, namely twin sisters Mae and Osha, praised the “unique” rock formations shaped by water and wind for millennia.
The first two episodes of ‘The Acolyte’ premiere in Portugal this Wednesday.
