The regional task force on the fight against psychoactive drugs met this week at the premises of the Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection. This is already the seventh meeting of the working group, formally created in December 2022 to combat the use and introduction of new psychoactive substances, according to the Secretariat.
At the meeting, led by the regional secretary Pedro Ramos, an assessment of the activity carried out by the various entities involved in this process was presented and the strategic objectives for the prevention and fight against drugs in Madeira were presented, among other issues.
The next meeting of the regional task force has been scheduled for the 23rd of February.
