The President of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque, announced today that alongside an addition75,000 Pfizer vaccines, 32,000 Johnson & Johnson single dose vaccines are scheduled to arrive next month. Talking to journalists, he said that the single dose vaccines were a boon, as they allowed for 32,000 people to be inoculated without having to worry about scheduling a second vaccine.
He went on to say that the number of Johnson & Johnson vaccines was greater than originally estimated, and that the Regional Governments goal is still to have 70% of the population vaccinated by the end of September.
