A fire broke out on Tuesday morning in a vacant house on Rua Visconde Cacongo, beside a residential area in Funchal.
Funchal’s municipal firefighters and the Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters attended the incident, with the PSP also called to the scene.
The municipal brigade deployed four vehicles and 13 firefighters, while the volunteer brigade sent three vehicles.
The incident follows four urban fires recorded in the municipality during September, all of which have raised concern among residents.
Details about the fire, the extent of the damage, and whether anyone was injured have yet to be confirmed.
