Regional Road 110 (ER110) is closed to traffic on the section between Portela and Caminho do Gambão, in the parish of Porto da Cruz, following a landslide.
The Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructures, via the Regional Directorate for Roads, announced that there’s currently no estimate for when the road will reopen due to safety concerns.
The source emphasises that the decision is to protect people and property while the area’s condition is evaluated.
