The Cabo Girão viewpoint, one of the most emblematic tourist attractions in Madeira, has been the target of criticism from visitors due to alleged lack of cleanliness at the site.
Despite being a paid space and offering one of the most impressive panoramic views of the island, tourists consider that the site’s maintenance leaves something to be desired.
One visitor, when asked about the suspended glass platform, said:
“Since it is paid, it should be clean so we can enjoy the landscape. Otherwise, there’s no point in having a Skywalk?”
