Passenger Declares PSL Kennels Unacceptable

A passenger today denounced an “unacceptable and irresponsible” incident that occurred on the Lobo Marinho ship.

According to the witness, “once again the kennels were unbearably hot”.

Following the high temperatures, harmful to the animals, she claims to have asked for the air conditioning to be turned on and was allegedly told by a member of staff that they only turn on the air after departure. However, it would appear that the air conditioning was switched off for the duration of the journey.

When she went to see how the dogs were doing, they were panting with the heat, repudiated the passenger.

Responding to the criticism, Carlos Santos, administrator of Porto Santo Line, when contacted by JM following the complaint, he said that there had been no problems during the journey.

After admitting that he had received an email of complaint regarding the lack of air conditioning in the kennel section, he said that the temperature is constantly controlled to remain at a temperature of 23º, which is adequate, so he could not understand why the woman was complaining.
