The Portuguese Institute of Atmosphere and Sea (IPMA) has issued a yellow warning due to the strong wind, rain, and sea agitation for for Madeira and Porto Santo from Thursday the 3rd of April.
On the North Coast, rainfall will be sometimes heavy from midnight on Wednesday to 06:00 on Thursday.
On the South Coast, rainfall will be sometimes heavy and the yellow warning is in effect from midnight on Wednesday until 06:00 on Thursday.
The wind will be from the West quadrant, with gusts up to 80 km/h, especially in the East and West ends of the island. The warning is valid between midnight and 18:00 on Thursday.
The weather warnings are also in effect in all mountainous regions.
